Ozzie

Oscar has been a little more emotional than usual, but overall pretty happy and really loves playing with his new friends, especially the neighbors upstairs. He did cry this morning again, but quietly and calmer than yesterday. He does wonderfully at school, and says he likes it which is such a relief for a mom who sends her boy off crying on the bus... Let's see what tomorrow brings.

A much happier Oz being silly at orientation

He announced yesterday that his favorite show and toys, Ben 10, "mess with his brain." Essentially we think this means it scares him so we've put all of his toys and videos away until he gets bigger, as ordered. He has also been waking up with nightmares a few nights a week (when we first got here it was almost every night). He says his nightmares are of Captain Hook (he occasionally watched jake and the neverland pirates at home but doesn't anymore). We're thinking this may partly be a product of all the transitions we've gone through, since they aren't really new to him but everything else is!

He can swim about halfway across and can tread water for a few seconds to take a breath and swim some more. He absolutely loves being in the water and missed it since we hadn't been in about a week.
