Next up - Buffalo! Daria and Elly were fortunately able to caravan up with us and the ride went pretty well considering it was Harry's first long car ride. He definitely had his moments but Oscar and Livi helped to distract him. We settled in with our usual excursions and anxiously awaited Dada's arrival.

Then it was time for the solar eclipse! There were all sorts of things going on around town, but we decided to just hang out at home and view it with some homemade boxes (thanks to the internet). The kids definitely took a mild interest, but I think Nonnie and I were the most excited!
While Harry stayed back with Nonnie and Grandad, Oscar and I took the big kids to Fantasy Island. We had a near disaster when all the roller coasters were somehow under maintenance, but they opened up just in time and everyone rode the Comet this time! The kids even took a frigid dip in the water park, although Oscar and I thought they were crazy.

Our summer travels were almost over, and with everyone reunited it was time to head back to VA and move into our new house!!!
