Olivia Rose

While strolling down blog memory lane, I came across a post from Livi's birthday last year. In it I'd written a lot about who Livi was at 3, and I realized I didn't do that this year. A little late, but here are a few things about our beautiful Livi at 4...

She loves to do crafty things - coloring, painting, cutting, gluing...she's always up for it and frequently gets her crayons out after we've said goodnight, colors for a few more minutes, and tucks herself back into bed when she's done.

She's in perpetual motion. Even when snuggling, some part of her is moving, and the only times she's still is when she's sleeping. Even watching TV, she prefers to be spinning on a chair or riding in and out of the room on a scooter.

She's a bundle of energy, but is so sweet and sensitive. She will randomly come up to you and tell you she loves you, and give you a big hug and kiss. She'll also be the first to attack dad in a wrestling match.

She knows exactly what she wants. She'll put something on, take one look in the mirror, and immediately know if she wants to wear it or not.

A few of her favorites -

Color: pink.... and blue, and red, and white and gold....
TV show/movie: Barbie
Song: Ghostbusters, Mirrors (Justin Timberlake), and any pop song with a girl singing and a good beat
Food: pizza...and nutella!!
Treat: lollipops
Toy: Barbie
Thing to play: Barbies and horsies
What do you want to be when you grow up? "a butterfly, a princess, a horse, and a unicorn"

The end of the school year

Oscar has one more week left of First Grade, and his end of the year party on Friday. The kids had a blast, and it's hard to believe this year is over!

The party started with fun in the pool...

Followed by "pass the parcel"  and signing cards for everyone in the class...

And a water games relay, that Oscar's class won! Oscar was so fast when it was his turn, he hit the finish line before I could snap more than 1 picture.

Livi found some streamers to play with while the games went on.

And posing with the chicks that hatched in Oscar's classroom!
