-She looks out the window of the car and happily shouts, "Me tuk tuk!" when she sees a tuktuk or "Me pink!" when she sees something pink or red.
-She likes to tell stories and starts them out with, "One deeey....". The stories usually involve ozzie, mommy, daddy, and "me."
-She's fearless in the water and her new trick is to sit on the edge between the deep side and baby side and flip backwards in a somersault. She also will just take off swimming and you have to be glued to her side to catch her when she puts her head up. So fun, but a little stressful for mom too!
-She's an ipad thief and if all of a sudden it's really quiet, you know she's found it and is watching a show :)
-She loves her $1 Target pink hello kitty socks so much they're the only ones she wants to wear. She was even happy to just wear 1 today when we couldn't find the other one on the way out the door to pick up Oscar from school.
-She refuses to wear most of the clothes we have here. While it has to be pink, it also has to have the right fabric and texture. It seems like she's rejecting anything with pictures or bows that stick out off of the fabric too. Good thing we have a washer and dryer to recycle her two favorites on a daily basis! When she does put on her favs, she's positively giddy and still loves to show them off. She wore her princess nightgown to a party the other night. (Some battles are not worth fighting...)
-We've apparently started some accidental potty training. Last night we forgot to put a diaper on her and she woke up dry. I came into their room wake them up this morning and Livi was sitting in bed and said "mommy me pee-pee." I thought she'd taken her diaper off and wet the bed but she was just telling me she had to go!! Big girl! She has 1 pair underwear she likes to wear (of course) that are my little pony and she looks for them by saying "yeehaw!" (the pony on the underwear says that in a book we have).
-She still refuses to wear her hair up. She even takes out the side pony tail I'd managed to get her to keep in before. I absolutely love her hair, but am toying with a bob again just to help keep her cool.
-She like to nap on the floor of her room, next to her bed, under her mosquito net. I'm not sure if she likes being close to the ground or just likes the idea of not being in bed. We have a toddler bed coming in our stuff and it will be interseting to see if she wants to use that instead, or if it will turn into a doll bed!
