More than halfway through our week in Barcelona, I returned to the land of the living and actually left the apartment. The US-Grajales/MacEachens headed to the seaside town of Sitges for "the best lunch ever," while the Indian-Grajales clan strolled around the streets of Barcelona and did a little shopping.

Our last full day in Barcelona, we all headed to Park Guell. It was teeming with tourists, but the kids loved being able to run around and explore. I love what Gaudi did in this park, and it's truly unique.
After the park, we headed on another famous Oscar walk to La Sagrada Familia. When we arrived a day later (slight exaggeration, but it was a long walk) the kids were starving so a few went in and we headed to the McDonalds across the street. We can be halfway around the world, and the kids still get excited over the golden arches....
Next stop, Cadaques!
