Buffalo!!! (1)

sleeping beauty with a little jet lag
It was so nice to see how quickly the kids settled in. I was honestly expecting a little culture shock, but we all easily began our usual Buffalo routine and more! We hit the playgrounds, parks, zoo, science museum, library, stores, visited family and friends, were visited by family...all in all just an awesome month of playing catch up in so many ways. Five weeks is a lot of time to chronicle, but hopefully the photos do a decent job....

The kids loved going to the park, and I had to agree! It was so nice to be outside running around, blending in, and again, not sweating. This was Oscar's favorite tree that he called his fort. For the first few weeks all he wanted to do was go to the park and play there. We spent some time on the playground nearby, but mostly they just ran around in the green spaces.

The Crane Library is always a regular stop during our Buffalo visits, to pick up books and movies.

I just love pictures of little people reading

Sailing is one of Oscar's favorite things to do in Buffalo. The wind wasn't so cooperative on the days we could sail, but he still loved being on the water.
Our first "sail" with a very happy Oscar.

Sail #2 gave us a little more wind and Oscar looked the part with his pirate tatttoo from Uncle Norbie.
