One night in Bangkok

We actually had 4 nights in Bangkok, but who can hear the name Bangkok and not think of the Murray Head song?

Thailand was fabulous, and tops my list as fav places in this part of the world so far. A few things we experienced in Bangkok while we were there - mall shopping (amazingly not that much); clean/speedy public transport where people miraculously que to get on board; an aquarium where we took a glass bottom boat tour, had fish nibble our toes, and saw lots of sharks; the beautiful Grand Palace that Oscar called Master Shi Fu's house (from Kung Fu Panda, didn't have the heart to tell him it was the wrong country); a long boat ride on the Chao Phraya (a little touristy, but the kids loved being on the water and feeding the fish); a park with clean and safe playground equipment, and even group exercise classes.

Here are a few photos from our trip to Chatuchak Market, one of the biggest outdoor markets in the world that sells just about everything.
had to make a playground stop on the way

some of the equipment had seen better days
