Five years ago our beautiful boy came into this world and our lives changed forever. From his vivid imagination to his soft gentle nature he is such an amazing child and we are so lucky to have him in our lives. The best birthday present for a mom - Oscar leaning over to me while devouring his far-from-perfect cake and saying, "This is the best birthday cake EVER!" It makes the 8am fondant rolling session all worth while. Here is his Pikachu cake before and after sitting out for a few hours....
We celebrated Oscar's birthday over 4th of July weekend as part of our 2 week trip to Buffalo. Here's a recap of our fantastic summer vacation with Nanee and Grandad, plus Elly, Aunt Ria, and Uncle Gordy too:

We're back in VA now with Dada, and have a busy week of visiting and making sure our stuff fits in our luggage...then a visit from Nana, Papa, Jenny, and Claire later in the week....and then off to Chennai we go!
