Olivia's Bunny

is actually a bear. Her white bear from Nana has become her favorite animal and her bedtime snuggle buddy. She's been sleeping SOOO much better these days, almost through the night. She does wake up a few times in the wee hours of the morning, but can calm herself in less than a min and fall back to sleep. I definitely think this is becuase she has her bear to snuggle with and fall back to sleep with rather than wanting to see me! (Her graduation from night time nursing also probably has something to do it it to.) Speaking of, we're down to 2-3 times a day for nursing! It's so hard to believe a year is almost here already! She's already well into being a toddler, but that one year mark is still so monumental!

Let's see, a few of my favorite Livi things for this post (dont' worry, Oscar's will follow with his first trip on a school bus!):

-If she gets upset or is just tired she'll cry out and just throw herself on the floor and lay there. I think this may be the start of tantrums (already!?) but right now it's still just cute!
-I love the sound of her little feet pitter pattering through the house. although she's a champ at walking, it's still uneven toddler steps and they're so fun to hear.

-She absolutely adores her brother and is on a constant quest to find him.

-She loves to go outside and will go to the front or back door and bang on it. She'll be all set to go until I tell her we have to put her jacket on and then she'll run away with a big smile on her face!

-She's a water baby and gets so mad when I take her out of the bath sometimes. She''ll actually shake her head violently and try to get away from me...unless i tell her yo gabba gabba is on...

-She actually brought Oscar a DVD once and then went to the TV and patted it and looked at him expectantly....she's a TV girl already!

-She's already obsessed wtih apple juice, like her brother. If she sees him get some she has to get some too...she does seem to like milk better than he ever did (fortunately) but juice is of course a preference.

-She flies ships around the house, complete with sound effects and also drive cars just like Oscar does :)

-She loves putting things on her head or shoulders and walking around the house with them...see photos :)
