We all piled into our car (minus Dragon who was having a holiday week in Montgomery Village) and headed up to Buffalo. We dropped Sam off along the way, and had a nice little visit with the Olszowkas before arriving on St. James place. Our trip was at a different time in the summer than when we usually go, so while we didn't get to see the Elmwood fest or Buffalo fireworks we saw the garden tour for first time. We didn't hit that many houses but we're awed by the Harry Potter garden and geophysical ball on Linden. The weather was gorgeous and we were the busiest we've been in a while, trying to get all of our plans in in only a week!
