When we heard Kate DiCamillo was going to be at the book festival Livi and I knew we had to go! We left little Oscar at home, as standing in any kind of line is a form of torture for him, and headed off to meet the Taylors. Harry left with Dada about an hour in, but Livi and I stayed with the Taylors and had a wonderful time meeting authors, getting signatures, and just being surrounded by fellow book lovers that are amazingly well mannered and polite - even at a huge event with long lines and little food! Book people rock.

Livi headed back to Elly's house afterwards and if you ever wondered why the Taylors is the fun house...
