Livi was having so much fun with the family, she decided to fly down to Austin with them and spend the week there. This was a big step for her to be away from home for so long and she had a ball!! She got to go camping with the McCormicks in their new camper and had lots of fun hanging out and swimming at Nana's house.

While Livi was living it up in Austin, the boys and I held the fort down at home. We had a little drama, when we found out Luis pretended to be sick and tried to skip his English classes. His mom decided since he clearly wasn't getting anything out of them it was ok for him to stop going. That, along with not wanting to go to any outings with us, left a huge gap in his schedule of activities. What I thought was major homesickness turned out to be a big fat case of being a teenager. Poor kid really wasn't cut out for the whole abroad experience and felt most comfortable staying at home and watching TV. He pretty much did that for a week while Oscar, Harry, and I spent the week at the playground and exploring nearby.

| Oscar was super excited to power wash the front bricks |

| A birthday package from Buffalo arrived and even Dragon found some treats inside! |

| Showing off his spoils |
 |
| Exhausted snuggle time |
 |
| Summer isn't complete without baclyard bbqs and corn on the cob |

| Harry loves this car at one of the playgrounds. When it first appeared he'd head over and just sit in it for a while before playing. Here he's waiting out a little rain shower. |
We found a garden center with a cute little children's garden. Little Oscar was a little less enthusiastic about it than Harry and his friend Alice...
