Ocean World

We couldn't leave Bangkok without visiting Ocean World, which is amazingly the kids first aqaurium experience! It's actually in the basement of a mall and pretty impressive. The kids LOVED it and were running around like chickens trying to see everything. It's the first time I remember seeing hammerheads in captivity, and they were only babies (2-3 feet long) but had to be separated since they're so aggressive. Oscar counted 10 big sharks in the big tank. We hit McDonalds for the kids on the way out, and then went to Condoms and Cabbages for our lunch. The restaurant was started to help raise revenue for an organization focused on promoting family planning in Thailand....it's name comes from the idea that condoms should be as readily available and acceptable as cabbages.
