We had a lovely Easter morning at home with some egg and basket hunting...Oscar calmly picked through his basket of toys and goodies and was pretty impressed with the Ben10 toy from the Easter Bunny mixed in with the candy. Livi ate her way through as much of her candy as she could before we stopped her. I sorely missed the cadbury cream eggs and pastel foiled reeses cups but I'll make sure to put in a special request for them next year to the Easter Bunny.
After a few hard boiled eggs, we headed off to an awesome brunch at the Marriott with friends. The kids bounced around on the bouncy castle and guzzled milkshakes while we enjoyed the brunch. Our friends Kelly and Ankush live there and gave us a little behind-the-scenes tour, including the "plank room" in the bowels of the hotel and Ankush's motorcycle! Little Oscar was very impressed with both, and even got a chance to rev the engine. Livi didn't really enjoy the loud noise but was very excited about the doggies we found. The Marriott Easter Bunny rocks!
