Pi day

Here we are! Posting on the same day it actually is?!?! Wow. So one of my favorite things for Harry since we've been here has been the MOMs club. With both older kids in school I realized I really didn't know anyone with kids Harry's age, so back in the fall we happened onto one of their playdates and decided to join the group. They coordinate a bunch of activities, including a weekly playgroup based on age and a few monthly group-wide activities.  He's not totally on board with playing with other kids instead of me, but he's starting to join in with the activities and recognizes the kids he sees regularly. Today our coordinator went above and beyond and made yummy treats including homemade chocolate pi symbols and deconstructed pies. He loved the fruit and cream, and even hung out with a few buddies!

Spring has sprung, and while I feel like we got short changed with snow this winter, this is one of my favorite times to be outside in this area - mainly before the humidity and mosquitoes arrive. The Buddie Ford Nature center was a perfect place to meet and Harry visited all the amphibians and insects that live there.
