Nairobi Bucket List

So, our list was a bit shorter than I thought and we managed to complete it in 1 day. We hadn't made it to the Giraffe Center yet or to our favorite restaurant The Talisman in a while so we combined the two and had a lovely Sunday our with great friends the Williams. My primary objective was to get a picture of Harry with some African wildlife (since he didn't get to experience a safari) and he did not disappoint.

We had a near disaster though, when under a bit of peer pressure Livi put giraffe food in her mouth to have the giraffe "kiss" her but was so overwhelmed she burst into tears and wouldn't go near them again! Oscar calmed her down, and I sat down with her and asked her if she wanted to try it again but only out of her hand. She pulled herself together and had a great moment feeding them. It also helped that her best friend's mom bought her a little wooden bird to remember the experience afterward!

Alls well that ends well and we had a fabulous lunch afterward. We surprised Oscar with birthday dessert and a proper multiple waiter Happy Birthday song with clapping. Somehow we managed to not take any photos of our friends and the Talisman experience, but great memories nonetheless.

Even little Oscar got into the experience!
