Spring has sprung, and for us that's supposed to mean the start of the rainy season. While we have had some rain, it has been significantly less than usual and the area is unfortunately now experiencing a drought. It does seem to be cooling off a little bit though, and hopefully we'll get a bit more rain before the season is officially over...
Easter brought us all a 4 day weekend, and we had a great time just visiting some close friends and hanging around home. The Easter bunny brought plenty of eggs and candy for the kids, and even some baby puffs for Harry. Oscar is still holding on to Santa and the Easter bunny, but makes lots of comments (fortunately not around Livi). He told me that a lot of his friends don't believe, but that the Easter bunny must be real since he brought Cadbury cream eggs this year and we can't get those here... A few minutes later he was munching on a smushed Reese's cup and commented that it still tastes the same and is the side effect of having to ship it from the US....stopped himself suddenly, looked up at me questioningly, then quickly looked down and kept on eating...I kept waiting for it to come up again but he kept quiet! We've told him that the Easter bunny doesn't come to people's houses that don't believe, so I think he's figured out it's best to keep quiet and keep the dream alive!
