A snow day in Nairobi is when the Embassy is closed for an American holiday and the kids still go to school (ie for Presidents Day). This time around we took Dragon and Harry out for an excursion to see the waterfall in Karura forest. Needless to say Dragon especially loved it and can definitely swim.
We tried a few selfies of the 3 of us, but Harry didn't quite cooperate.

Livi's grade had each child present on a topic in science, and Livi's was volcanos. She designed the volcano all on her own and came up with the topics she wanted to discuss. While she was a little bit nervous leading up to the presentation, when she was in the moment she rocked! She even worked a joke into her presentation that she told to the superintendent:
What's the most dangerous piece of jewelry?
The ring of fire.
