Ode to Liv

This is a little late, but I wanted to give a more comprehensive update on Livi as she turned 2. Overall, still way ahead physically, catching up verbally, and a whole lot of personality in between :) Here are a few things about her, and a few anecdotes thrown in for good measure:

-She tells stories using about 5 words and a whole lot of body language
-Jumping is still one of her favorite past times (beds, down stairs, puddles, while walking...)
-she sings songs using her 4 favorite words (me, daddy, oz, mommy)and a whole lot of other "words"
-She likes to take roll call of everyone in the family, whether they're present or not
-She was playing piano on a slice of watermelon the other day
-She uses 2-3 word sentences (are those considered sentences?)
-she goes potty, kicks you out of the room, and makes you shut the door while she sings. when she calls you in she plays a game pretending she's done and then should "one mo!" (meaning one more minute) and kicks you out again laughing
-my favorite sentence so far "MOMMY BLECH ME NO!" translated as "Your food is so gross and don't even thing about offering it to me!" This is usually in reference to cheese, meat, or salad.
-she is all about pink or red, likes to try on fancy shoes and dresses but still refuses to let me put her hair up

The long and short of Livi's vocab these days (explanation is in paraenthesis as needed) - she's come a long way!!:
-her expressive words (my fav): uhoh, wow!, ohhh, uhhh, mmmm, yeah!, weeee!!! (when she's having fun)
mommy, daddy, me, oz, no, mo (more), num (thank you and your welcome), pees (please, only used sometimes, she usually pats her chest to sign it), dis, dat, boo (big or cold), booboo, apple, cracker, cookie, juice, happy, all done, ooof (dog), meow (cat), rarrrr (dinosaur, lion...), lala (elmo), up, down, shhh, poopie, peepie, slurp (ice cream), beese (m&ms of course!), yumm, cut, tickle tickle, two, one....
