Oscar headed off for some work travel while the kids and I tried to enjoy our last week of Christmas break without him. There was lots of snuggle time and staying cozy as a cold weather blast hit us.
We met up with the Lashers one Saturday at a Trampoline place when it was especially chilly out. The big kids took off to hang with their friends and after a few minutes of being unsure, Harry found his trampoline legs:
Just in time for the kids to head back to school, some perfectly timed snow gave them their first snow day ever! Livi and Dragon enjoyed it the most.

Wrangling all three kiddos to get out of the house can be positively ridiculous sometimes. School mornings are more clockwork, since Oscar and Livi both have a sense of responsiblity and while they don't necessarily want to go, they ultimately don't want to be late. Weekends are a whole different story... I captured this moment about 20 minutes after I told the kids we had to take Dragon out for a walk. I'd managed to get Harry changed and halfway dressed when we wandered into Oscar's room. He was busy playing and Harry loves to hang out in his room at any opportunity. Livi quickly joined us and was not dressed as requested....the following ensued.
Even Dragon was trying to get them out the door.
Eventually we made it out for our walk. Oscar even put a hat on without being asked! Gigi would be proud.
