We had an awesome road tripping adventure in June, but the summer had only just started! After a few quick days of recuperation (and lots of laundry) we gave Dada a big hug and kiss and headed off to Buffalo. We love our summer trips in Buffalo and quickly settled into our routine.

After our first week of fun, Elly and Aunt Daria joined in the Buffalo fun and we completed our Buffalo circuit together! At the science museum:
| The 3-D movie on mummies had a luke-warm reception, but the popcorn and glasses were a big hit. |
Fourth of July fun at Uncle Norbie's house, which also turned into a little birthday party for Oscar (Oscar and I also made it to the fireworks with the Olszowkas!):
| even though it never made it into the water, the canoe was still fun to play with |
| Oscar's first 8th birthday celebration! |
We also discovered Stiglemeyer park with the Franczyk family cousins:
| a rest stop during out walk on one of the trails |
| Can you tell that Oscar is less than thrilled to be surrounded by girls (mostly)? |
More girl time!

A family trip to Spot Coffee where the cinnamon bun was a huge hit -
and photographic proof I was actually on this trip :) |
And on our trip to the zoo we were lucky to meet Monica, the first baby rhino born through artificial insemination in the world. Her name didn't quite fit, but she was awfully cute.

And of course, plenty of story time snuggling, and Gus never missed out on the chance to lick some feet!
