A fun busy weekend

Last weekend was an action packed adventure. A very rainy day took us to the Air and Space Museum in DC. Oscar especially loved seeing all the planes hanging from the ceiling, and Livi liked the planets ("Ball!"). We saw a show at the planetarium with Big Bird and Elmo, and both kids loved it. A fun introduction to the stars and space! We're looking forward to seeing some real stars this weekend when we go to Knot Much with the Franczyk/Taylor families for Easter!

We also had a wonderful visit from the MacEachen clan over the weekend. In MacEachen style, they got lost on the way here and Oscar had to travel, but fortunately he was here for at least one day. Sunday we all went to the Mall and walked around the White House, Washington Monument and Natural History museum. It was MADHOUSE but aside from some very tired little feet everyone had a great time. We also went to the zoo on Monday and had another exhausting, but fun filled day. The weather cooperated and it was perfect for all of our tourist-ing! The kids had so much fun being together, and our apt walls are super thick because no one complained about the noise :) Here are a few pics from the weekend (only a few since most are on the camera oscar has. A great pic of the 4 kiddos all actually copperating for the photographers too...)

Today the kids and I drove to visit Aunt Ria and Elly. We had a great trip to the park and both kids were troopers walking most of the way (and Livi avoided most of the mud puddles...) Elly seemed to enjoy the walk, and enjoyed a nice snooze in the heat! Chloe was least cooperative since she rolled in a nice pile of mud which Livi commented on with "Mommy, Blech ooof!" Even heading back down at 3pm I hit traffic..with both kids asleep in the back it was definitely managable but it surprised me!

Next up...Knot Much this weekend! It's nice to have so much excitement around here. I find myself missing Hoboken a lot - Not wanting to go back, but just realizing how perfect it was for us for the 2 years we were the
