Livi is in a big girl bed! It's been about a week and I think we're good to go...I bought a little toddler bed used thinking that before any big move we should have her out of a crib (one less big transition to make all at once!). We tried about a month ago and she played on the bed but wanted to sleep in her crib, so we just left it in her room. Last week we asked her one day if she wanted to sleep in it and she said yes. We got her all tucked in and told oscar to let us know if she got up. Well, after about a half an hour of oscar telling us her every movment in their room (including a few minutes in his bed) we convinced him to just try to lay down and go to sleep and she would probably do the same. It worked and we've been crib free ever since! Yet another move made easier by her big brother! She's growing up so fast...not too much more verbally, but we've added a few more words to out repetoire - "cracker" and "uh-oh" (that's my new personal fav)we had a great weekend spent in NYC on Sat (times square and central park) followed by a trip to the Jersey City science museum on sunday. Perfect weather too!! (The first picture is actually from last week in Hoboken but it's one of the few I have of Livi and Oscar)
