I'm way behind again but need to jot a few things down before they slip my mind! Oscar's teacher told me a funny story about Oscar yesterday:
All the kids were in the bathroom and Oscar was standing against the wall while the other kids were tkaing turns using the bathroom (yes, he still refuses to go at school but says he will when he's 4...we'll see how that goes!). One of the girls in his class was giving him kisses and hugs and he was bascially just standing there. Another girl in his class comes up to try to get in on the action, and the first one pushes her away. Apparently the cat fight was broken up and the teacher asked Oscar what happened (even though she saw) and he said he didn't know, they were just trying to hug him. She asked if he liked it that they were both trying to hug him and he got his sly little smile on and vigorously nodded. Oh Boy!
Yesterday when Dada got home from work Oscar and I were snuggling on the couch. We all got up to say hi and then sat back down. Oscar got a little upset because I wasn't sitting next to him anymore. Dada obliged and he sat down on the end, and Oscar walked over to him and said, "Dada, I know you wanted to sit next to me but that's OK if you get me apple juice instead." A future career in diplomacy perhaps?
