Catch up

Although it's been a few weeks since my last post (lack of computer!) this may be short since liv is on the end of her nap...hmmm a few catch up items:

Oscar - His new kicks are space, transformers, and superheroes! While he still likes his cars and trains from time to time, his imaginative play always turns into flying things and transforming into robots and trucks. The sound effects are great (care of dada)! He continues to say the funniest things n the cutest way, his latest being his response to Dada asking him to drink his milk after eating his treat. He gives him a dead pan expression and says, "I knew you were going to say that."

Livi - Oh boy this girl has spunk! Her latest, and not so fun thing is to bite when she gets frustrated or excited. We're working on eliminating that with her first timeouts but she still resorts to it...She got a cute stroller from our friends andrea and brian (DS) and she puts her animals in it and walks it around the house. She's already fiercely independent and will get stuck (since our house is not so big), get frustrated, and then get even more frustrated if you try and help her. However, the flip side is that she seems to be going through a stranger-fear stage. Fortunately this did not transfer to Aunt Jenny or Claire (who we had a wonderful weekend with last weekend!) but she clings to me when dropping Oscar off at school. She also loves her dada of course and needs to get her snuggle time in with him, clinging to him like a monkey when he gets home from work. Ah, speaking of...she stirs! 'Til next time...
