We got back from a wonderful trip to Austin for Missy's shower last week (I'm a little late in posting). Oscar had so much fun tooling around nana and papa's house and hanging out in the hot tub! (We did make it in the pool once but it was quite chilly and Oscar just liked pretending to knock me over and have me fall into the water...) Olivia was a social butterfly and truly the happiest baby on the block...as long as I was in close proximity! She is definitely a mama's girl, but did warm up at the end of the week and hung out in the hot tub for a bit with nana and papa and aunt jenny. She also had a blast in the new shower. While I was worried about getting water in her eyes, she would make her way directly under the water stream deliberately getting it in her face. She LOVES the water.
Quick recap: Olivia mastered stair climbing after one day, reuniting with Herman, Oscar and Tommy playing cars, Oscar watching Shrek with Nana and Jenny, everyone in the hot tub, Jenny ans bronchitis :(, Oscar climbing all over Missy, seeing Charlie's room, and finally a dinner at Tommy's restaurant!
Missy's shower was wonderful and while Olivia hit the sack early, Oscar was a ham, showing off his muscles and doing dances while Missy opened the plethora of gifts! The life of the party! :)
We just wish Jenny had been healthy but we hope she's doing well now!!!
