Costa Rica via Buffalo

April brought some BIG news to our family, when we found out we would be moving to Costa Rica at the end of May! A NOW spot came up and Oscar couldn't pass up the opportunity so we started our old Town bucket list and took a spring break trip to Buffalo.

Trying to get Livi's room clean to prep for leaving was one of the biggest challenges...

The Mirror Mirror art installation at the old Town waterfront coordinated nicely with everyone's new hair.

 And just enjoying the gorgeous spring weather. April and November are my favorite months in Virginia!

 Harry discovered Livi's jewelry and decorated himself daily for about 2 weeks straight

And then we took our spring break road trip to Buffalo! Oscar unfortunately couldn't come with us, but the drive wasn't so bad  with the kids helping to entertain Harry ...and lots of treats!

We had a brief stop off in Montgomery Village to drop Dragon off for the week.

We kicked off the week with one of many easter egg hunts.

 And of course some story time

 The weather was definitely not like our usual Buffalo summer visits, but seeing our last few snowflakes was pretty fun and the cool rain was welcome to balance out the hot and humid weather we'll have during our next 3 years.

 Harry decided he needed to rule the Iron Throne and picked out a very Jon Snow-esquesword from Treehouse
