Livi was still feeling sick with a low grade fever and bad cough yesterday, so the girls hung out at home watching movies, and the boys went ahead on our planned day trip to Crescent Island in Lake Naivasha with the neighbors.
As the story goes, the island (actually a peninsula) was artificially populated by a bunch of animals (no predators) for a movie, and then left there. As a result it's a great place to get close to some wildlife and not have to worry about the lions…although you do still have to keep an eye out for the water buffalo and hippo!
